Forming part of the spectacular Twelve Apostles mountain range, Table Mountain is an almost instantly-recognisable symbol of Cape Town. With its scenic “tablecloth” of dense cloud, the mountain is almost always ready for a photo opportunity.
The diversity of fauna on the mountain has earned it the honour of being proclaimed a World Heritage site, and includes more than 2000 types of endemic fynbos, which cannot be found anywhere else in the world.
Table Mountain can be discovered in a variety of ways, including cruising to the peak in the cable car, riding the mountain biking trails, traversing the hiking trails and even exploring one of the many rock climbing routes.
