Situated in the centre of the Cape Peninsula, the Constantia Valley is nestled on the south-east slopes of the Table Mountain National Park and the original vineyards smattered across the area makes up one of the oldest wine routes in the Cape. Hop aboard the Three Bays or Cape Point tours to soar overhead this stylish and historical part of Cape Town.
Located a mere 20 minutes away from the City Bowl, the affluent suburb of Constantia is known for its secluded, country-like ambiance and the vineyards boast some of the finest examples of Cape Dutch homesteads. Well-known farm estates that can be found in the area include Klein Constantia, Buitenverwachting, Uitsig, Steenberg and Groot Constantia, the estate originally owned by Simon van der Stel. Additionally, the Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens and the beaches of False Bay are a stone throw away.
